Liquor seized: 8 arrested with 218 bottles of foreign liquor from Sardarnagar, Madhavpura and Odhav in Ahmedabad

Police arrested 8 accused including a bootlegger along with 218 bottles of foreign liquor from Sardarnagar, Madhavpura and Odhav areas. PCB PI Taral Bhatt received information that bootleggers had hidden a quantity of foreign liquor in a house in Ramesh Colony, Bhilwas, Sardarnagar. Based on which he raided with the staff. 89 bottles of foreign liquor (cost Rs. 27,760) were recovered from there. Along with this, the police arrested the bootlegger Bhairumal Tekwani. While 2 accused including Dipu Beard (Hansol) who sent the quantity of liquor are absconding.

Based on the information that a rickshaw full of liquor was going to Kalupur from Madhavpura Mojdi Bazar Fuwara circle, Madhavpura police set up a watch and police stopped the rickshaw and searched it and found 70 bottles of liquor (cost Rs.9880). Along with this, the police arrested Prahaladbhai Patni, Gobind Singh Rajput and Vikram Kumar Suthar.

A team of State Monitoring Cell raided the Muni Suraj Swami Society behind Odhav Seth RT School. Meanwhile, 55 bottles of foreign liquor (cost Rs. 29,175) and 2 two wheelers were caught from there along with 4 accused. In which Nisarg Darji, Suraj Soni, Vijay Rajput and a juvenile were arrested. While the women bootlegger Riyabhen Darjee, Zeel Solanki, Vipul Rabari, Vikram and Goral Sonaji Daima, who ordered the quantity of liquor, were absconding.
