Omicron Updates: 50,407 fresh COVID-19 cases, 804 deaths reported in India in last 24 hours; 1.2 crore people above 60 have not got jobs yet, says government

Meanwhile, as Covid-19 ebbs, Delhi recorded less than 1,000 cases for the first time in 2022. In the last 24 hours, according to the state department's health bulletin, 977 people tested positive, taking the positivity rate to 1.73%.
